The Compiled Military Service Records (CMSR) of these soldiers may or may not have the parent(s) name in the them. They may have filed for the balance of pay and allowances that the soldier was due at the time of death and if so then that record may exist in the file. The parent(s) would have to have gone to the County Court Clerk's office and filed through them to the Confederate Government for dispursement. If they were married, then their widow's would have done this. You can order the CMSR through this web site (flashing tab at the top of the page) cheaper and faster than you would be able to obtain it through the National Archive.
