Andrew,

thank you for your imput. I am researching a SIM BAKER who according to Lillian Henderson was a member of Co. F, 2nd Georgia Infantry. I am trying to find out where he died. My G-G-Grandfather JAMES SANFORD BAKER, wrote the "Guntersville Democrat" newspaper on May 1, 1889 about a trip he had taken from Acworth, Georgia to Manchester, Alabama. he said, "I passed through Ringgold, Georgia and saw the very place where my brother was killed and buried."
My question is was he killed in Ringgold? or maybe at Chickamauga? or maybe Missionary Ridge? or did he die at Lookout Mountain like Ms. Henderson said he did? Any suggestions?????
