Keith, this evening while looking at the Florida Pension Applications online, I came across the name of Thomas T. Roan, who enlisted in Capt. R. H. Whiteley's company A, 2nd Battalion Georgia Sharpshooters on 10 January 1862, but there was some discrepancy as to whether it was in Escambia county, Florida or Bainbridge, Georgia. Roan was discharged on 1 May 1865 in Carleton? county, South Carolina. Attesting to Roan's service as Orderly Sergeant in the company was the company's 2nd Lt. H. W. Cockrell, on 14 August 1901. Roan died 19 April 1907 in Ft. Myers, Florida. Tom
