I'm the great, great grandson of capt. Thomas McCall Yopp commander of Co.H 14th Georgia Regt. Blackshear Guard's from Laurens Co. Ga. I have alot of history to share about battle's ect. reference from laurens history book. I know my ancestor was wounded in the shoulder at seven pines his X.O. was kia and burried in Va. would like to find out more info. anything you may have that concern's the 14th in battle or perhaps later after the war of Northern AGGRESION!Capt. Thomas McCall Yopp lived in the Confederate Solider's Home in Atlanta until Jan. 23 1920, He is burried in the Confederate cemetary Merrita Ga.
