What is the source of your date: 13 May 1863? The 34th Georgia was marching in the area of the Big Black River and Edward's Station, Mississippi on this day. They would be heavily involved in the Battle fo Baker's Creek (a.k.a. Champion Hill) on 16 May 1863.
