John W Key enlisted as a Pvt 44th Ga. Infantry Co H March 4 1862 and died Aug 6 1862 in Richmond Va. Born 1844. James M Key was born 1846 and died in 1864. Both of these men have markers in the Key family Cemetary in Putman Co Ga.
