Looking for information on John P.(Patrick) Key, born 1816 of Jones/Putnam Co GA who was the father of John and James Key, also in the war. His land was on the line of two counties so he shows up in two. I have found a John P. Key in Unit Pruden's Battery, Georgia Artillery, State Troops who was a private for the confederate states. I want to see if this is the right John P. How or what should I do to make sure this is him. Does anyone know were Pruden'S Battery was from?
