I am looking for personal recollections of any soldier or officer who served in the First Georgia Infantry (Ramsey's) from April, 1861 to March 1862, for a book that I am writing on the regiment. Am particularly interested in photos, letters, diaries and/or books about individual soldiers. I would especially appreciate information about the officers: Colonel James N. Ramsey, Lt. Col. James O. Clarke, Major George Harvey Thompson, and Adjutant James Anderson. I will be glad to share information.
