Thank you very much for the information on Merida. Recently, I've just learned that I've come t hrough on the Queen line through Merida's brother James.

I've always had an interest in the Civil War, and was a member of the David W. Payne SCV camp in Blairsville for a few years. While I was a member, I've been asked whether or not that I was related to Merida, or any of the Queens in the Union County area. At the time, I did not know, as my dad, grandfather, great grandpa, etc, were living in the Mobile/Mountainview area of Fannin County.
