I've found Jonathan Jefferson HOGUE bur. in Lamar Co. TX Little Vine Cemetery, and his stone identifies him as a "Confederate Veteran". No other info on stone about his military servce. I found his family in 1870 Census, Paulding GA...the only military records I could call up (got broken links) was that "Jonathan Hogue enlisted May 10, 1861, and "received a disability from Co. F 7th Inf. Reg. GA on 12 Feb. 1863. Residence, Carrol Co. GA."

I looked for a Georgia or Texas pension index and didn't find him. His DOB: 1834; died: 1897 Paris, Lamar Co. TX.
Can anyone tell me if he was listed in a roster in the 7th Infantry? Would that Unit be from Carroll Co?
