Watson Brothers, Massenburg's Battery

You'll have to excuse me because I'm new at this. And the internet is not forthcoming with information or sources with what little information I have to go on.

My GGGrandfather was PVT James Jeffry Watson. He served in Massenburg's Battery (Jackson Artillery) Georgia Light Artillery. He and his two brothers signed up in Houston County Georgia Sometime in 1861 or 1862.

While trying to research these three brothers and find out where I might find them buried I'm running into brick walls. The rolls of Massenburg's Battery, the one I can find anyway, has very undefined information. It shows just initials instead of given names.

Here are all the Watsons from Massenburg's Battery as found in the webpages listed below.

Watson, J.
Watson, J.F.
Watson, J.P.
Watson, J.T.
Watson, R.G.
Watson, T.P.
Watson, Thomas

James Jeffry Watson's brothers names were Jesse and Ruebin G. as recorded in our family records. The J. Watson might be Jesse, the R.G.Watson I believe to be Ruebin, but there is no J.J. Watson listed there.

I draw deadends trying to find anything else on the brothers. By shear accident I found James Jeffry Watson buried in Quitman (old) City Cemetary. There is a real nice headstone placed there by unknown person(s) or society.

All my family records were destroyed in a house fire three years ago, but I had a copy of JJ's Pension Request and copies of pages out of a History book telling of the three brothers and their outstanding abilities in firing the 12 pound guns. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to recover these documents.

If anyone could point me at some good sources or know anything of these brothers I would greatly appreciate hearing of them.
