Called into the service of the Confederate States for defense under the Provisions of the Acts of Congress, on the requisitions of the President by Joseph E. Brown,
Governor of Georgia, from the Fourth day of August , 1863, date of the Muster, for the term of six months, unless sooner, unless discharged, and to serve at that portion of the State of Georgia lying North of a line commencing at a point on the Chattahoochee River where the line between the counties of Muscogee and Chattahoochee strikes said river, running across said State along the Muscogee Railroad to the city of Macon; thence in a direct line to the that point on the Savannah River where the line between the counties of Richmond and Burke strike the river

I Certify, on Honor, That I have carefully examined the men whose names are borne on this Roll, their horses and equipments, and have accepted them into the service of the Confederate States for the term of Six Months from the fourth day of August, 1863
