Andrew Martin Wolihin, the commander of this battery for the greater part of the war, was born in Leesburg VA on Oct. 1, 1831. He died at Macon GA, Feb. 22, 1897. He became Grand Master of the Grand Masonic Lodge of Georgia, Lodge No. 132 in Crawfordsville GA being named for him. He is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Macon GA.

Wolihin's Battery was assigned to Major Austin Leyden's Battalion during the Battle of Chickamauga GA, Sept. 19-20, 1863.

Here's a roll for the company, which surrendered at Appomattox VA, Apr. 9, 1865.
