I am a descendant of James Tol Fortner. My GG grandfather was Ebin Fortner and my G grandmother was Millie Ola Fortner. I was in contact with a gentleman that had searched the Fortner line and said he could only go back on ours as far as James T. He was also wanting to know the location of his burial which seems like the question for everybody! I have a theory and want to bounce it off people. Maybe James last name wasnt really Fortner? After all Georgia was a prison colony. Just a thought.Would love to hear from Fortners that are related to me!
