No such name on any Georgia roster. A man named Whitner O'Barr (sometimes referred to as Whitman or Whitney O'Barr) from hart County served in Co. "H", 15th Georgia Regiment. He was killed in the Wilderness on May 6, 1864. A pension application was made to the State of Georgia in his name.
