Muster Roll question

I have wondered for awhile, about the date printed on the Muster & Pay Roll for Georgia State Troops at Camp McDonald.

Upon the rolls is written the date: June 11th,1861-August 2nd,1861

The following printed words are crossed out in pen: "called into service of the State of Georgia, under the Provision of a Resolution of the
General Assembly, passed December 13,1862, by Joseph E. Brown, Governor of Georgia"

If the roll is penned with the year 1861, why is the the form printed December 1862(?)
