I am very appoled at the Clayton County Government. When i was a child in the 40's on Helmer Raod in Clayton County this is just off Hwy 85 about 3/4 mile before entering Fayette county. About 300 ft down Helmer Road there was a Cemetary with upward of 100 graves and there were soldiers buried there according to my Dad and this Cemetary was dozed over by Tri Cities Realty and Houses built on the site. Years ago i have contacted Chairman Charlie Griswell and Planning and Zoning guy by the name of Hoyt Swaney i believe was his name and he said there was nothing he could do about it and this is just a disgrace to our service men and our ancestors. There is a lady that is a lifelong resident named Jo ann Carlton Busey that is aware of the cemetary.
This is a matter that needs the attention of the home owners that is living on top of a cemetary and Tri Cities realty needs to be accountable also thanks Jack R. Hill sr Cleveland Ga. member of SCV camp #1418
