I am trying to track the actions of the 38th GA Infantry from Oct. 1864 through the end of the war. I am writing an article about a Virginia doctor, RG Holloway who was transferred by the CS Medical Dept. (Oct. 5, 1864) from the Army of Tennessee [30th Alabama Inf. (Vol.)] to the Army of Northern Virginia [38th GA Inf.].
