Gentlemen,

According to the 1860 Federal Census, Slave Schedule, for Jones County, Georgia Robert V. Hardeman (looks like a "V" to me and not a "L") owned thirty-four slaves that lived in five slave houses to be exact. All were black and no mulatto. Here are the age and sex breakdown: 65m, 60m, 37m, 37m, 35m, 34m, 34m, 35m, 30m, 28m, 25m, 23m, 21m, 17m, 60f, 36f, 40f, 40f, 36f, 24f, 24f, 19f, 18f, 17f, 12f, 11f, 10f, 9f, 15f, 9f, 8f, 6f, 3f, 1f.

I hope this helps.

Respectfully,
