Jimmy, I was googling a j. d. nelson who built a muzzle loading rifle that belonged to my Grandfather, could they be the same man or perhaps his son? Grandfather lived in Pickens county in north GA, close to a town named Nelson. I had a gun shop appraised the rifle and he said it came from the lale 1880's to 1900. Any thoughts?
