Thanks George, as I mentioned I had found some things on this unit, but was looking for exactly what you posted. I found a grave in Rock Mills, Al. of a member of this battery. For some strange reason the stone was marked "Private Ferrell's Battery". I could not figure out why a battery was named after a private, but you answered that to. After looking on the roster of Georgia Soldiers I could not find anything mentioned of Ferrell's Battery or of the man that was buried in Rock Mills. Thanks again, Tom
