Does anyone know if any soldiers in the 56th Georgia Infantry were captured in the Battle of Kolb's Farm in June 1864? I had an ancestor, Thomas J. Cash, who was in this unit, and according to his pension application and family history, he was captured near Marietta, Georgia in June or July 1864. I was wondering if Kolb's Farm might be the place. If not, what are some other possibilities?
Thanks,
