Residence Worth County GA;
Enlisted on 7/9/1861 as a Private.
On 7/9/1861 he mustered into "G" Co. GA 14th Infantry
He was discharged on 10/30/1861 at Warm Springs, VA

Exum enlisted in Company G, 14th Georgia Infantry July 9, 1861 Worth County, Georgia by Captain Harris for the duration of the war, discharged October 30, 1861 at Warm Springs, Virginia, died November 11, 1861, his file contains a note between the War Department and the Commissioner of Pensions, State of Georgia dated April 23, 1917
