I was hoping maybe that you could shed some light on Daniel PS Childs and James Madison Childs, both of the 35th Ga inf Co E. Is there any evidence that they were brothers? Daniel was killed at Petersburg in the last days of the war. Did his widow, Elizabeth Jane Foster Childs recieve a pension? Did James M Childs recieve a pension. If so, what state? Any info at all would be appreciated.
