Do you have specific information as to when Captain Raulston was wounded. The,"Battle of Lookout Mountian," took place Nov. 24, 1863. At that time the 6th Georgia Cavalry was participating in the siege of Knoxville. This if well documented. In my family history, my great grandfather, a member of the 6th Georgia, said he fought on Lookout Mountian. I assume the regiment had an engagement on the mountian other then the Nov. 24th battle. Also, while I know things can get blurred in the retelling of family histiory, my great grandfather said they started a rock slide on the Yankees. I wonder if any of the followers of this site have any knowledge of a southern unit starting a rock slide on Union troops. R. Cofer, 6th Georgia Cavalry Association
