Christian N. Pike enlisted in Co. "B", Columbus GA City Battalion during late August 1864. He also appears in the 1st Georgia Regiment, Light Duty Men, enrolling Nov. 17, 1864, Major A. M. Rowland, Macon GA. It would seem quite possible that he could have died of wounds after the fighting for control of the bridges at Columbus GA, April 16, 1865.
