In the battle known as "Seven Pines" by the Confederates, and "Fair Oaks" by the Federals, fought on the 31st May and June 1, W.F. GARRISON, Orderly Sergeant of Co. F, Nineteenth Georgia Regiment, was reported "missing, [???] unknown." Since that time nothing has been heard from him, and his parents, who reside at [???] in deep distress at his unknown [condition]. If anybody, in either army, can communicate any intelligence concerning the [whereabouts] of young GARRISON, it will be conferring a great [service] upon his [kin and] deeply [concerned] relatives. If the New-York and Philadelphia papers would institute an [investigation] through [their] columns concerning this young man, probably it would accomplish the object of this paragraph. The service would be cheerfully paid for, if there was any way to forward the money, but [as] this is impossible. [editors of] the papers of those [states], for the sake of [mercy], and [determining] the [condition] of the missing one and [???] possible [easing] the terrible load of suspense and [distress] under which his father and mother [???]. Any information directed to the Petersburgh Express [will] be cheerfully communicated to the parents at [???].
