When you fight over the same ground more than once there's bound to be some confusion in references. What is now broadly known as the Battle of the Wilderness was fought in May 1864. The fighting in which the 19th Georgia participated one year earlier in the same area is now mostly known as the Battle of Chancellorsville. And in both cases there were larger and smaller parts of the opposing forces pitching into each other at places miles apart with their own geographic designations like Wilderness Church and Wilderness Tavern.

So was the 19th Georgia engaged on 1 and 3 May 1863 at Chancellorsville and Wilderness? Sure, and on the 2nd of May as well. However, for clarity it might be better to call it all Chancellorsville.
