I am in the process of researching W. G. (William George) Eubanks, E Company, 28th Georgia Infantry Regiment. I find a W.G. Eubanks in the index of soldiers in the 28th Georgia Infantry; however there is only one card in the file which indicates "All cards filed under William G. Eubanks".

Herein lies the problem. There is no William G. Eubanks in the index of soldiers who served in the 28th Georgia Infantry. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I might begin searching for the CSR of William G. Eubanks? Thanks for any suggestions.
