I am looking for information on Benjamin F. Martin who lived in Hancock county but mustered in with the 6th regiment in CO k. Is this a relative of yours? It is my Wive's Great Great Grandfather. Some of the records I found have him die shortly after in enlisted.....but I know this isn't the case because he lived to 1918.
