Greg, thank you so much for your answer. I am sure "Campaigning with Old Stonewall: Capt. Ujanirtus Allen's letters to his wife is the book I have been looking for but did not know the name!!! My grandpa Porter's three Uncles all joined the 21st Regt. Co. F. 9 July 1861 in Antioch, Troup Co., GA. David A. 21, James 19 and John 17 Porter all joined up, David and James were mustered in 28 July 1861 at Richmond, VA but little brother never made it that far. Two older boys both are buried in Virginia, I was hoping to see if I could find out any information about them. Believe David was wounded and James died of illness, haven't a clue what happened to John. Again thank you for your help. Patt
