What can you tell me about Comp. B (Wimberley's Company) from Bainbridge GA. My 3G grandfather was Capt. John T. Wimberley. This was his second....tour I guess you could say. Prior to this he was a Lt. with the 2nd GA Cav Vols. K company. He was wounded while fighting with Forrest in TN. But the 29th info is sparse. The family story said he made it all the way to Virginia before surrendering, atleast that's what my great grandmother said. Any info or places for me to go would be great. Thanks
