There is an association of descendants of the 6th GA Cavalry. The contact person is Richard Cofer. I am sure he could help you find some information on this unit. Do a search of this board, you'll turn up an e-mail address. Four of my GGGrandfather's brothers served in the 6th in Co. E and Co. H.
