The 15th Ga. was at Chickamauga in Benning's Brigade. It was engaged at the Viniard Field on Sept. 19. On the 20th it advanced to the north between the LaFayette Road and the Glenn-Kelley Road and engaged Croxton's Union Brigade just to the west of Poe Field before withdrawing to just north of Brotherton Field.
