Hello. My name is Aaron Milligan and I teach history in Oklahoma. My ggg grandfather was in the 1st city battalion, columbus, Georgia. Try as I might I can't seem to find what these guys did, if and where they fought, or their history. They may have been machinists before necessity (also called Sherman) moved them to serve. My ggg grandfather became a POW. His name was William Barnett Page. Three of his brothers were in the 11th Georgia. All died. Another brother died at Camp Douglas.
