After twelve years of research, the regimental history of the 7th Regt. Miss. Inf. has been published and can be ordered by contacting me or at our website: www.7miss.org. This regiment was part of the Mississippi "High Pressure Brigade" and was pivotal in all of the major actions of the Army of Tennessee, particularly the Atlanta Campaign."Lest We Forget-The Immortal Seventh" is a chronological record of all known letters, diaries, official reports, and family lore attributed to this group of Southern patriots from their muster in Southwest Mississippi in 1861 until their surrender in North Carolina in 1865. A majority of the cited works are primary sources and previously unpublished.
