I am not a researcher of the 38th Georgia but I ran across ~150 pages of letters from MG Rowsey of the 38th Georgia online (see link below). It is newly posted on the FamilySearch.org website. Go to recrords related to Georgia, the Elbert County Records, and then to the Civil War letters to families box 10 1857-1871. You will have to register for a free account to view them
