Their records are rather skimpy.

Enlisted on 6/11/1861 as a Private.
On 6/11/1861 he mustered into "A" Co. GA 19th Infantry
He was discharged for disability on 8/15/1862 at Orange County Court House, VA

Y. prison arriving August 29, “was conscripted Aug. 29, 1862, Claims to have been an Union Man & opposed Secession. Desires to go to Cincinnati, Ohio where he has friends residing,” no further records
