Some of you may know that Henry Persons and I have been working on a History of the units in Andersons Brigade. My part
of this project is doing the Rosters..........which I have been working on for the last 3 years. I am currently 1/2 done the 11th GA Roster
having completed the 9th GA some months ago. These Rosters are as detailed as can be reasonably managed considering the scale of this project.
We have taken the information from Henderson's Roster and gone card by card through the entire CSR for every man, and added a huge amount of representative information covering an individuals service. Then, from Henry's massive archive, we add the casualty lists from local papers, letters and reports, then
we designate all relevant Special Orders from the AIGO. Oh, and we use census and burial information as well...........so my point is only that these
are not your average Rosters. Having already done the 4th AL, 1st KY, Wise Artillery, 9th GA, and being about halfway through the 11th GA, I think I can fairly
say there has never been anything like them. So keep an eye peeled a few years from now...........your Roster questions are being answered as we
speak and you will all be able to access the Brigade Rosters when the project is completed. Rejoice..............its being taken care of. Best, Rick
