Hello, I am a Civil War living historian and am in a group that has several horse drawn artillery teams. We are looking at potentially portraying Co E, 9th GA Artillery Battalion (Lt William Everett commanding) at the Chickamauga National Battlefield next September. I'm doing a cursory search right now to see what information is currently out there on the 9th GA Artillery Bn, specifically Co E. Any books published on them? Any memoirs? Any known photos? I have yet to find any however am in the beginning stages of my search.
