I am also related to Benjamin Thomas Cameron Sr, Capt CAS.

I have found some recent documents about the Sallie Fannie Reid Guards. A letter dated 7 Nov 1871 establishing the Sallie Fannie Reid Guards and BT Cameron as a Captain. and a Muster Roll naming all the people in the unit.
