Agree Mr. White, untold amount of stories are waiting to be told and may "get lost" for several reasons, but major among them are the "PC" crowd. In the past decade I've visit numerous battlefields located in both the eastern and western theaters. All seem to have added, to the extreme, the black and slavery issues. During my trips in the east it almost appears as if Harriet Tubman was not only everywhere, but the focal part of the entire war. In the west, the Corinth visitors center has almost more about the Contraband camp than the siege and battles at both Corinth and Iuka.

It does appear there is a concentrated effort by some to eliminate anything connected with the Confederacy. Of course that is changing history but that seems to be of no great concern to those self appointed persons promoting it.

Is history being studied in schools? Don't know, but doubt if anything is told about WW1 and little about WW2, The war in Korea is totally lost. The Civil War? It appears a deliberate act.

Let us keep researching and relating what we find.
