Thanks,George. I have no idea what his line of work was. He is buried in Crown Hill Cemetery in the small town of Clifton Forge,Alleghany County,Va. Clifton Forge is about 25 miles from W.Va. Douglas and widow both drew a Virginia Confederate pension
in this town,so he had been living here for at least 2 years when applied for pension. See findagrave.com.
