Is there any place online to review the battles this unit encountered, along with resulting casualities/injured/missing soldiers? Also, is there any listing of those that joined with the 6th, 23rd, etc. later on?
I'm trying to find a relative. All we have so far is that he died between May 1 and the end of July 1862. He appears to have died in hospital, but we don't know which one, nor where he was buried. He may not have died in the hospital at all, since there is no note that we have found until 2 years later. The other question is whether he died of battle wounds or disease, as did much of his company from what I understand, including Carr.
Thanks for any assistance!
