Your ancestor settlement settled and died in Temple Texas after the war. I read this note I thought it slightly odd that the widow of a soldier in Company G, James Harris Wills, settled in Crawford Texas with her many children. James H Wills is buried at Vicksburg where he died of disease. His last name is misspelled on his headstone as "Willis." James H Wills is my gggrandfather
