The annual Confederate Memorial Day ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, 10 A.M., at the Union County War Memorial in Blairsville. It will be conducted by the David W. Payne Camp #1633, Sons of Confederate Veterans. Civil War author and SCV member Gregory C. White will be the guest speaker. A cannon firing is tentatively planned. The public is welcome to attend.
