Looking for information that William E Todd died at the General Hospital #1 in Savannah, GA in July 1863. He was brought back to Tattnall County, GA for burial. However, I do not know how he came about being mortally wounded. Recently, I found information that his brother Charles DeKalb Todd was wounded (disabled his foot) on 1 July 1863 at Gettysburg. My new information included all the battles Charles DeKalb Todd was involved in, plus the mentioned of two other times he was wounded along the way. Therefore, I wondered if possibly, William Edward Todd's wounds may have also occurred at Gettysburg?
