My ancestor, Richard B. Pittman, Co. F, 7tyhe Miss. Regt was KIA in the Battle of Chickamauga. It is my understanding that ALL Confederate dead were removed to Marietta, Ga. Confederate Cemetery. There is no record of R. B. Pittman's body being received at that cemetery or any record of his burial.

My question to you, is there any Confederates buried at the Nashville Cemetery? If so is this the place to look.
