I think I have found all three brothers been looking for them for over a year.
I just finished my result today. The three brothers are from Ringgold Catoosa,
County, Ga. Two brothers joined the Company F 39th Ga. Regiment
Infantry John E. and Henry or H. Smith. William T or W. T. joined Company A, I, 39th
Ga. Regiment Infantry. Henry was also in Gen. Bragg Tenn. Company A, 26 Tenn.
Infantry.
Two brothers POW William T. captured in Marietta and John E. captured in Resaca.
Henry maybe Resaca he was sent to a Hospital in Strawberry Plains. William T didn't
receive pay for service in Ga. Enlistment April 12, 1864. I also found two brothers in
Illinois William T. appears on POW Camp Douglas Mustered into Company C, I 6th
U.S. Volunteer Infantry Company I, 23rd Regiment, 64 Infantry. Rank in Corporal
Rank out Pvt. Film Roll 226 Roll 56. John E. U.S. Alton Ill. U.S. 5th. "Galvanized Yankees".
