It is my understanding that Manson Wells (1835-1863), husband of Altha King Wells of Sandy Mush, Buncombe Co, NC died in the Battle of Chicamauga. He is reported as missing (burial site unknown). Does anyone have any further information on him or which battle(s) he was involved in?
